How To Be A True Blogger

15 steps to becoming a true blogger!

1.Spend about 2 hours every day trying to get the perfect flat lay. The lighting has to be on point, and it has got to fit your theme!

2. Don't just comment something generic on every single blog post you come across. "Great post" doesn't necessarily mean 'I took the time to read this.'

3. After you spend 2 hours taking just one flat lay, spend an extra 2 hours trying to edit it on Picmonkey. Get frustrated at how glitchy and slow it is, so delete all your efforts and just brighten the image up with the built-in editing software on your laptop.

4. Buy about 6 notebooks. One for writing 'To-do' lists, blog post ideas, blogging update schedule planner thing, and the other 3 for random crap that doesn't fit with the other three categories.

5. Be THAT person who has to take a photo of a vase of flowers whenever you walk past them, I am slowly becoming this person.

6. Open 'New Post', start typing your introduction. *Receives text, loses interest in writing* Shut computer down. "Maybe tomorrow" - 'Bloggers Block', a short story that feels like forever by Every Blogger Ever.

7. Promote on EVERY social media that you have. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat. You name it, you tell your followers that you just posted something new on your blog.

8. Sticking with promotion, make sure to let your Instagram followers that you also have a Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat. WARNING: Do not be that douche who promotes one post 24 times a day, and pleasssseeeee don't use Automated DM's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. In order to be a true blogger, follow me on Bloglovin', like my Facebook page, follow me on Twitter and Instagram, and add me on Snapchat(is4belt).

10. Find dupes of popular expensive products to help those of us with a hole in our pocket (please.)

11. Create helpful content, even if you're only helping one person out.

12. When you get a nice comment, reply! This makes you look more active, and it's always nice to make an effort for the people who are keeping you going.

13. This step doesn't necessarily go towards being a 'true' blogger, but to be a 'good' blogger within the community, sharing posts that you've read lately (and enjoyed) is a nice thing to do because it gives the blogger a good understanding of what is working for them

14. Bulk blog. Write a tonne of blog post drafts. You never know, you could get Bloggers Block tomorrow!

15. Be Original. No one wants to see the same thing twice!
